GLP Companion is an iOS app for logging GLP‑1 medication doses, effects you notice, body measurements, and progress photos. This page answers the questions that come up most often. Anything it does not answer, write to karl@kharles.com — that address reaches the developer directly.
The curve is arithmetic on the doses you logged. For the medication you set up, the app uses published population figures — the elimination half‑life, how quickly the dose is absorbed, and how much of it reaches the bloodstream — and works out how much would still be in the body at each moment. It is shown as an amount in milligrams, or as a percentage of the peak you would reach on your usual schedule.
Those are population averages. Your own levels can differ substantially, and the estimate for an oral medication is less certain than for an injection. The curve is a picture of your dose history, not a measurement of you, and it is never a reason to change anything about how you take your medication. That is a conversation for your prescriber.
Free, with no time limit: the Home tab and its chart, logging doses, logging side effects and positive effects, dose reminders, the History tab, and the "This week" card in Insights.
GLP Companion Plus adds the rest of Insights, the whole Progress tab (body measurements, Apple Health import, and progress photos), and iCloud sync. It is an auto‑renewing subscription, monthly or annual, and starts with a 14‑day free trial. Prices are shown in your own currency on the GLP Companion Plus screen in the app, under Settings.
If a subscription lapses, nothing is deleted. Everything you already logged stays on the device and stays readable; only adding new entries in the Plus parts of the app stops until you resubscribe.
In the app, open Settings, tap GLP Companion Plus under the Subscription heading, and tap Restore purchases on the screen that opens — with the phone signed in to the same Apple Account that bought the subscription. Subscriptions themselves are managed by Apple: the Manage subscription row under the same heading, or the iPhone Settings app → your name → Subscriptions.
The app has no accounts and no password, so there is nothing for the developer to reset. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.
Individual entries — doses, effects, measurements, photos — swipe to delete, wherever they are listed.
Everything at once: Settings → Delete → Delete all data on this device. If you have ever turned on iCloud sync, a second row also removes the copy in your iCloud account. Both ask you to type DELETE and then confirm. Deleting the app alone does not remove data already synced to iCloud.

Health entries are hidden rather than deleted in the app: swiping one away keeps a note of it so the next import does not bring it back. To remove it for good, delete it in the Health app. Settings → Privacy → Show hidden Health entries brings back everything you have hidden.
Sync is off until you turn it on, on each device: Settings → iCloud → Sync with iCloud. Both devices have to be signed in to the same Apple Account, have iCloud Drive on, and be online; sync is part of Plus, so both need an active subscription. Progress photos are a separate switch underneath, also off by default, and they can take a while — the settings screen shows "Uploading 12 of 26" while they go.
The Status row on that screen says what is happening, including when iCloud storage is full or the device is waiting for a network. Changes usually appear within a minute of each other; a first sync of a long log takes longer.
Not in the European Union. Under the EU's Digital Services Act the App Store shows verified trader details for apps sold on its EU storefronts, and GLP Companion's developer is not registered as a trader, so EU storefronts are not currently included. If that changes, this page will say so.
It is available on the App Store elsewhere, including the United States, the United Kingdom, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, Switzerland, and Japan, and it is translated into English, German, Spanish, French, Italian, Brazilian Portuguese, and Dutch. Prices are shown in your own currency, and subscriptions are sold by Apple.
GLP Companion is not a CE‑marked or FDA‑cleared medical device. It does not diagnose, monitor, or treat anything: it stores what you enter and shows arithmetic based on published population figures. Deleting your data is described above; there is no copy held anywhere else to request or erase.

Your data stays on your iPhone, or in your own iCloud account if you turn on sync. There is no developer server, no account system, and no analytics. The full Privacy Policy explains what is stored, where, and how to remove it.
GLP Companion displays estimates derived from published population pharmacokinetic parameters. It does not diagnose, treat, or recommend dosing, and it is not a substitute for advice from your prescriber or pharmacist. Not intended for anyone under 18.
